  • Oman Air Cargo is the Cargo Division of Oman Air, the National Carrier of the Sultanate of Oman. Established in 2009, Oman Air cargo has carved a niche for itself as one of the leading air cargo carriers in the Middle East Region.

     

    With a belly-hold capacity of over 80 flights per day, the new state-of-the-art cargo handling facility at the HUB in Muscat serves a vast network of scheduled services to Europe, Africa, Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Far East. Together with the interline partners and trucking network, Oman Air Cargo offers its customers access to over 150 destinations across the world covering all continents.

     

    Oman Air Cargo provides tailored solutions to cater to the needs of the customers by offering specialised services. The products and services offered by Oman Air Cargo range from transportation of general cargo to valuables, courier, hazardous goods, live animals and temperature-control goods such as pharmaceuticals, perishables, and much more.

     

    Oman Air Cargo functions are managed through ‘SmartKargo’ system which is a new generation wholly cloud based system providing reliable, transparent, and real-time information to the customers throughout the logistics chain, right from acceptance of consignment to delivery. The technical innovation ensure that the shipments are monitored continuously and are handled with highest standards.

     

    Fleet Information:

    Currently Oman Air’s fleet consists of four B787-8, four B787-9 Dreamliners, six A330-300s, four A330-200s, five B737-900s, 21 B737-800, four Embraer 175s and four B737 MAX.

     

    By the end of 2018 Oman Air will have taken delivery of five new MAX aircraft and three B787-9s. By 2022, Oman Air’s total fleet size is expected to be around 70.
