The second draw of the "Fly free to London campaign was held at the Oman Air Head office. The Chief Guest for the occasion was HE Sheik Mohamed bin Sakher Al Amri, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Transport and Communications for Civil Aviation Affairs and Board Member.
The Fly free to London campaign was launched on the 16 September and will last up to the 15 December 2008. Bringing desires to reality, the airline will continue to offer an opportunity for the residents of Oman to fly free to London. The campaign open to the residents of Oman, is simple to take part in. One only has to log onto the Oman Air website (www.omanair.aero) and click on the Special Offers section which has the 'fly free to London' campaign. By taking part in a survey which is a set of questions about the various services offered by Oman Air, including airport services, the participants get a chance to win free tickets to London, through a raffle draw. The survey can be taken in English or Arabic.
Six winners were announced in the first draw. After this second draw, where six winners would be drawn from the raffle, there will be 6 more free air tickets (economy class) to Muscat-London-Muscat up for grabs through this campaign. The campaign was designed as a tool to create better web awareness to the public.
Speaking on the occasion, HE Sheik Mohamed bin Sakher Al Amri, congratulated the winners while appreciating the unique efforts of Oman Air in promoting its destinations. He also lauded the efforts of Oman Air in upholding the image of Oman as an ideal and safe holiday destination.
Corporate Communications and Media department of Oman Air announced that the completed surveys by participants will be electronically captured and winners will be drawn out randomly for the free tickets. There will one more lucky draw after this that will determine the winners of the remaining 6 tickets. Winners will be informed through their given email addresses.
